RECENT WORKS
Below are examples of some of the clients we have worked with recently. Our thanks to them all and continued success in the future. Please view our Case Studies page.
Boeing 767 Engine Change Tool Kit
Our client, an international logistics company with a fleet of freight aircraft, required a Boeing 767 Engine Change Tool Kit organising and storing.
The previous arrangement had a ply box which stored the parts in a haphazard manner, parts were difficult to identify and the box was unwieldy to access with a lift off lid.
Bolting Boards
Our ultimate client, an aircraft manufacturer, identified a need to improve their production process and issued a specification to supply bolting boards, which would show which bolts are required during the assembly of each section. The brief was to produce a sandwich arrangement to fit inside a standard 600 x 400 euro box. This sandwich would consist of a clear protection layer, on top of a printed template showing sizes and details of the bolts required, this would be support by a rigid layer on top of 50mm of foam.
Microscope Holder
We were approach by our customer who required the complete supply of precision parts, foam inserts, labels and Peli case – Rout 1 were uniquely placed to supply and manufacture all aspects of the project. The specially designed microscope carrier was to be used to inspect a safety critical area for damage and micro-cracking, this required a combination of materials to be used including stainless steel and nylon.
CNC Machining
CNC Machining is a process used in the manufacturing sector that involves the use of computers to control machine tools. Tools that can be controlled in this manner include lathes, mills, routers and grinders. The CNC in CNC Machining stands for Computer Numerical Control.
- First a CAD drawing is created (either 2D or 3D), and then a code is created that the CNC machine will understand
